LOW VISION

Dr. Davidson has a special interest in helping patients with low vision use their remaining sight to their maximum potential. She also loves that glasses can both correct vision and work as a fashion statement.

EXPERIENCE

For nearly 20 years, Dr. Davidson owned her own private optometry practice in Riverside, CA. She has served as president of the Inland Empire Optometric Association and founded an annual educational symposium for optometrists that is still running today, more than 18 years later. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a faculty member at Loma Linda University Medical School’s Department of Ophthalmology, where she helps train residents. Along with her husband, Richard, she has volunteered on missionary trips to Fiji and at an orphanage in Tijuana, where she performed eye exams while Richard made glasses.

GET TO KNOW DR. DAVIDSON

She’s had a part-time home in Lake Havasu City for 20 years and now looks forward to making it her full-time residence. When she’s not taking care of her patients, Dr. Davidson is a licensed private pilot and loves paddling her two-man outrigger canoe with Richard. She also enjoys both water and snow skiing, traveling the world, and spending time in her art studio creating unique and original pieces with fused glass and wood.
