MEET DR. Rimbergas
Dr. Sylvia Rimbergas is an experienced eye doctor and therapeutic optometrist who has been helping patients see better for more than 20 years. She specializes in diagnosing and treating eye diseases like glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy and also loves providing comprehensive eye care for families in the Lake Havasu community.

She previously lived in Arizona when her daughter was an infant, and she’s excited to return to the state as her daughter attends college at Arizona State University. When she’s not helping her patients see their best, she enjoys spending time with her husband, dog, and extended family, as well as participating in activities like biking or hiking in the great outdoors.
EDUCATION
Originally from Chicago, Dr. Rimbergas earned her undergraduate degree from Benedictine University and her Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry, graduating with honors at both schools. She finished a hospital-based residency at the Jesse Brown and Hines Chicago Veteran’s Affairs hospital system and remained there as a clinical instructor for years.
